Halton Borough Council has appointed Cityheart as its Development Partner to deliver a new £60 million housing scheme on a brownfield site in the Halebank area of Widnes. The scheme presents the opportunity to regenerate over 20 acres of former industrial land to create a much-needed residential district that will act as a catalyst for further investment in the area.

The scheme will deliver circa 360 houses and apartments, with Cityheart assisting on all aspects of delivery, including land assembly and acquisitions, funding and securing a registered provider.

Planning for the first phase of 86 dwellings has now been approved with future phases of the masterplan in design.
