Plumb Centre Opens in Georgie Road, Edinburgh
Cityheart recently refurbished a 6,000 sq ft unit on Gorgie Road in Edinburgh which was pre let to Wolseley Group, trading as Plumb Centre on a 15 year lease. The new store opened in May of this year.

New Sainsbury’s Local in Edinburgh
As part of the Bainfield Student Scheme in Edinburgh, Cityheart developed a 4,500 sq ft Sainsbury’s Local store which fronts onto Dundee Street.

Orchard Park, Hull
Cityheart have delivered Phase One of their Orchard Park scheme and the tenants are now in occupation.
Phase 2 let to Heron will be handed over in Mid June 2015.

Cityheart purchase Glasgow building for student scheme
Cityheart and partners Marbury Properties and Paradigm sold Clifton House to Kier Investments. Having rationalised the planning Consent, Kier and Partners Amber have commercial building work.

Cityheart purchase retail site
Cityheart have received Practical Completion of their Retail Units in Failsworth, which are let to Domino’s Pizza and Co-op Funeral Care. The investment was sold to a Private Consortium.

Cityheart submit planning in Glasgow
Cityheart with partners London & Scottish have commenced construction for 220 student beds with ancillary space to include offices, creche, media room and wardens flats to Glasgow School of Art.
Cityheart were appointed preferred developer by the Glasgow School of Art in the summer of 2013, and have worked with partners London & Scottish to purchase Blythswood House to convert the building for the school. Graham Construction are currently on site.

Cityheart hand over 778 beds to Edinburgh Napier University
Cityheart handed over their Fountainbridge scheme to Edinburgh Napier University in time for the new influx of students. The scheme comprises 6,7 and 8 bedroom clusters in addition to a Student Union facility and a public car park. In addition, Cityheart have let 4,400 sq ft to Sainsburys for their Local concept.
The scheme acheived a BREEAM Excellent rating and was funded by Standard Life Investments, with construction by Pochin.

Cityheart secure site in Wigan for convenience store development
Cityheart have purchased a site on Mesnes Road, Wigan and secured a planning approval to develop a 390 sq.m (4,200 sq.ft) convenience store and associated car parking which has been pre let to a national supermarket chain operator.
The detailed design to include ground works and foundation design commenced in November 2014 and once complete a contrator will be appointed to construct the store which is due to complete in September 2015.

Glasgow Scheme Sold
Cityheart as part of Clifton House LLP have sold Clifton House in Glasgow to a Kier/Amber joint venture. The refurbishment of the former office building to provide 230 beds is now underway.
